It is coming up five years since on-job assessment (OJA) was introduced to Grid Skills training. Back in 2016 – 2018 the sector worked hard to build up its bank of TEs, to be ready for on-job assessment activity as new courses rolled out. From four TEs in 2016, across three companies, we now have more than 100 TEs across 10 companies; two-thirds are in the North Island.
