On 12 April 2022, the Electricity Authority approved a new Transmissions Pricing Methodology (TPM) to take effect from 1 April 2023. For the most up-to-date pricing information and to learn more about the new TPM visit our Grid Pricing pages.
Calculation of charges for the interconnected grid under the new TPM does not use Regional Coincident Peak Demand (RCPD). The last capacity measurement period (CMP) used for the purposes of calculating transmission charges was 1 September 2020 - 31 August 2021.
