New GM Grid Delivery at Transpower appointed

Chief Executive Alison Andrew has today announced the establishment of a new role on Transpower’s General Management Team, the General Manager Grid Delivery, and the appointment of Mark Ryall to the role.

The new position consolidates the responsibilities of the existing General Manager Grid Projects role, currently vacant, and the General Manager Grid Service Delivery role, currently held by Mr Ryall.

The changes take effective from 22 July 2019.

Ms Andrew says the decision to consolidate the two roles was made considering the significant programme of work Transpower must deliver as RCP2 comes to an end and RCP3 begins.

“By creating a single role responsible for all grid delivery, that will continue to work closely alongside grid development, we can achieve more effective and efficient outcomes in the years ahead,” she says.
