Transpower advises that we are currently experiencing a power outage on our network, affecting Taupo and the surrounding area.
We need to make some repairs and restore equipment to service. This is going to take some time to safely complete this afternoon.
Residents and businesses in affected areas should expect to be without power until early this evening.
