Updated preferred option consultation
On 16 August 2023, we sought further views on our Net Zero Grid Pathways Phase One major capex proposal (NZGP1 MCP). This was after discussion with the Commerce Commission regarding estimation of the net benefits in our original proposal. We changed the preferred option from shortlist Option 10 to shortlist Option 14 after recalculating the net benefit, which we then consulted on. Submissions were due by 5pm Wednesday, 06 September 2023. We received three submissions. Our consultation documents and the three submissions are published below. NOTE: Our Grid Pricing Team consulted on the proposed starting benefit-based investment (BBI) customer allocations for NZGP1 at the same time. No submissions were received.
