Transpower advises that some areas within Maungataupere and Kaikohe have had power restored due to the back feeding of some of the transmission network.

Transpower advises that areas from Maungataupere north are currently without power due to a large scrub fire underneath its transmission lines that feed the area.

Transpower advises its transmission lines feeding the Northland area have been put back into service following a large scrub fire this evening.

Transpower needs to complete important line and substation maintenance work to ensure a reliable supply of electricity to Te Kaha, Waihau Bay, Omaio, Torere and the surrounding areas.
