Transpower delivered a proposed new Transmission Pricing Methodology (TPM) for the Electricity Authority in June 2021. This was in accordance with the Transmission Pricing Methodology Guidelines, published by the Authority in June 2020, and the Electricity Industry Participation Code 2010. You can view our proposal and refer-back responses here. Visit the Electricity Authority's TPM web pages for its decision paper and the new TPM itself.
The new TPM applies to transmission charges set by Transpower from 1 April 2023. Information on transmission pricing is available on our Grid Pricing page
